Hendrik Löbbert (1979, Bonn) studied documentary film, photography and video art in Weimar and Montreal. He worked as a journalist and cameraman for various German newspapers before writing and directing his first cinema documentary “Grenzbock” in 2015 together with Wüstefilm and Arte. Since then he has been making documentaries and reports as a director and producer for various German broadcasters (Arte, 3sat, ndr). He is co-founder of the production company non fiction society and lives in Berlin and Stockholm.
